Los Cabos International Airport (IATA: SJD, ICAO: MMSD) is the primary commercial airport serving the Los Cabos resort corridor in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is located approximately 13 kilometers north of San José del Cabo and about 50 kilometers from Cabo San Lucas, placing it between the two towns that form the tourist destination collectively known as Los Cabos. The airport is one of the busiest international airports in Mexico, handling millions of passengers annually, the vast majority of whom are leisure travelers from the United States, Canada, and Europe. It sees a heavy concentration of charter and seasonal flights, particularly during winter months when demand from North American tourists peaks. Operated under a concession by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), the airport has undergone significant infrastructure upgrades in recent years to accommodate growing passenger traffic and modern wide-body aircraft.
