Mohammed V International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Morocco, serving the country's economic capital, Casablanca. Located approximately 30 kilometres southeast of the city centre, it handles the majority of Morocco's international air traffic and serves as the primary hub for Royal Air Maroc. The airport is named after King Mohammed V, the father of Moroccan independence. It is operated by ONDA (Office National Des Aéroports), the national airports authority of Morocco. The facility has undergone significant expansions over the decades to accommodate growing passenger volumes, with multiple terminals handling tens of millions of passengers annually. It connects Morocco to destinations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.
