Vnukovo International Airport (IATA: VKO, ICAO: UUWW) is one of three major international airports serving Moscow, Russia, located approximately 28 kilometers southwest of the city center. It is the oldest of Moscow's major airports still in operation and has historically served as the primary hub for government and VIP flights, including Russia's presidential aircraft. The airport underwent significant modernization in the 2000s and 2010s, including the construction of a new terminal building that opened in 2010. Vnukovo handles tens of millions of passengers annually and serves as a base for several Russian carriers. Vnukovo is managed by Vnukovo Airport LLC and is a key component of Moscow's aviation infrastructure alongside Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports.
