China Airlines is the flag carrier of Taiwan, founded in 1959 and headquartered in Dayuan, Taoyuan. Operating under the callsign DYNASTY, it serves an extensive network of destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania from its primary hub at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The airline is a member of SkyTeam, one of the world's major airline alliances, and operates both passenger and cargo services. Its cargo subsidiary, China Airlines Cargo, plays a significant role in Taiwan's international trade logistics. China Airlines has undergone significant rebranding efforts over the years, including updates to its iconic plum blossom livery, and has invested in modernizing its fleet with newer, more fuel-efficient aircraft. Despite its name, the carrier is a Taiwanese airline wholly separate from any mainland Chinese entity.
