Krasnoyarsk International Airport, also known as Yemelyanovo Airport, is the primary commercial airport serving the city of Krasnoyarsk, the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk Krai in central Siberia. It handles both domestic and international passenger and cargo traffic, functioning as a key hub for the region. The airport is located approximately 30 kilometers northwest of central Krasnoyarsk and has undergone modernization efforts to improve passenger capacity and facilities. It serves as an important transit point for flights crossing Siberia, including routes between Europe and Asia. Aeroflot and its subsidiaries, along with S7 Airlines and other Russian carriers, operate routes through Yemelyanovo, connecting Krasnoyarsk to Moscow, other Russian cities, and select international destinations.
