Da Nang International Airport (DAD/VVDN) is the main commercial airport serving Da Nang, the largest city in central Vietnam. It is the third busiest airport in Vietnam by passenger traffic, handling tens of millions of passengers annually and serving as a critical hub for both domestic and international travel to the central region. The airport is situated just a few kilometers from Da Nang's city center, making it one of the most conveniently located major airports in Southeast Asia relative to an urban core. Its proximity to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Hoi An, My Son, and Hue has made it a popular entry point for tourists exploring central Vietnam. The airport underwent significant modernization and expansion in the 2010s, including the opening of a new international terminal in 2017, greatly increasing its capacity and improving passenger experience. It is managed by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).
