John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is the busiest commercial airport in Ohio and the primary aviation hub serving Columbus and the broader central Ohio region. It handles millions of passengers annually and offers nonstop service to dozens of domestic destinations as well as select international routes. The airport was renamed in 2016 in honor of Ohio native and astronaut-senator John Glenn, shortly before his death. It is operated by the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which also oversees Rickenbacker International Airport on the south side of the city.
