Mandarin Airlines is a Taiwanese regional airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of China Airlines, one of Taiwan's two major international carriers. Founded in 1991, the airline operates scheduled passenger services primarily on domestic Taiwanese routes as well as select regional international destinations across East Asia. The airline serves as a feeder carrier for China Airlines, operating out of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Taipei Songshan Airport. Its network covers destinations within Taiwan, including Kinmen, Penghu, and Taitung, as well as regional routes to Japan and other nearby countries. Mandarin Airlines has historically operated a mixed fleet of regional jets and turboprop aircraft suited to shorter-haul and island-hopping routes. As a China Airlines subsidiary, passengers can benefit from connectivity and interline arrangements with the parent carrier's wider network.
