Hapagfly, operating under the IATA code HF and ICAO code HLF with callsign HAPAG LLOYD, was a major German charter and leisure airline headquartered in Hanover, Germany. It served as the aviation arm of the TUI travel group and was one of the largest charter carriers in Europe during its operational years. The airline operated a modern fleet primarily consisting of Boeing aircraft, flying holidaymakers from German airports to leisure destinations across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and beyond. It maintained a strong presence at key German airports including Hamburg, Hanover, and Stuttgart. In 2007, Hapagfly merged with Britannia Airways Germany to form TUIfly, effectively ending the Hapagfly brand. Under TUI Group ownership, the airline's operations were integrated into what would eventually become TUI Airways, one of Europe's largest leisure aviation networks.
