Czech Airlines (CSA) is the national flag carrier of the Czech Republic, tracing its origins back to 1923, making it one of the oldest airlines in the world still in operation. Headquartered in Prague, the airline has long served as a key link between Central Europe and destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
The airline has undergone significant restructuring over the decades, including partial privatization and changes in ownership. Korean Air acquired a stake in the carrier, and it has maintained membership in the SkyTeam airline alliance, benefiting from codeshare agreements with global partners.
In recent years, Czech Airlines has scaled back its network and fleet as it faced financial pressures and increased competition from low-cost carriers. The airline continues to operate from its primary base at Václav Havel Airport Prague, focusing on European and select long-haul routes.
Hubs & network
Czech Airlines operates primarily from Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) as its main hub.
Fleet
Czech Airlines has operated Airbus A319, A320, and ATR 72 turboprop aircraft in its regional and short-to-medium-haul network.
