Ivato International Airport (IATA: TNR, ICAO: FMMI) is the largest and busiest airport in Madagascar, serving the capital city of Antananarivo. It handles the majority of the country's international passenger and cargo traffic, connecting Madagascar to destinations across Africa, Europe, and the Indian Ocean islands. The airport is operated by Aéroports de Madagascar (ADEMA) and sits at an elevation of approximately 4,198 feet (1,279 meters) above sea level on the Hauts Plateaux plateau. Its single runway accommodates a range of aircraft types including wide-body jets. Air Madagascar, the national carrier, has historically used Ivato as its main hub, alongside other African and European carriers that serve the capital.
