Nador Al Aaroui International Airport (IATA: NDR, ICAO: GMMW) is a commercial airport located near the city of Al Aaroui, approximately 25 kilometres south of Nador in the Driouch Province of northeastern Morocco. It serves as the primary air link for the Nador-Berkane region and handles significant traffic from the Moroccan diaspora in Europe, particularly during summer months. The airport has undergone expansion and modernization works to accommodate growing passenger demand, especially from low-cost carriers operating routes to Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and other European destinations with large Moroccan immigrant communities. It plays an important role in connecting the Rif region to international markets. Despite its relatively modest size, the airport sees substantial seasonal peaks driven by Moroccan expatriates returning home during summer and religious holidays, making it one of the more active regional airports in Morocco during those periods.
