Kalibo International Airport (IATA: KLO, ICAO: RPVK) is a public airport serving Kalibo, the capital of Aklan province in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. It is primarily used as an entry point for tourists heading to the world-famous resort island of Boracay, located approximately 60–70 kilometers to the south. The airport handles both domestic and international flights, with significant traffic from charter and scheduled services originating in China, South Korea, and other Asian countries. Its passenger volume surges during peak tourist seasons when Boracay draws large numbers of international visitors. Despite its international designation, the airport has relatively modest infrastructure, though ongoing improvements have been made to accommodate growing passenger demand. It competes with Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (Caticlan) as an alternative gateway to Boracay, with Caticlan being the closer but smaller option.
