Flights operate predominantly to and from Turkey, with Turkish Airlines and other Turkish carriers serving the airport. International travelers often connect through Turkish airports before reaching Ercan. The airport has undergone significant expansion and modernization efforts, including a new terminal building opened in 2022, aimed at increasing passenger capacity and improving facilities to handle growing tourism demand.
