Atlasjet was a Turkish low-cost airline that operated scheduled and charter passenger services within Turkey and to international destinations. Founded in 2001, the airline grew to become a notable player in the Turkish aviation market, competing with flag carrier Turkish Airlines and other regional carriers. The airline operated from its primary base at Istanbul Atatürk Airport and served numerous domestic Turkish cities as well as European and Middle Eastern destinations. Atlasjet was known for offering affordable fares on both leisure and business routes. Atlasjet ceased operations in 2018 after financial difficulties, having rebranded briefly. Its operations and some assets were absorbed into the broader restructuring of Turkish aviation during that period.
