Air Choice One is a regional airline based in the United States that primarily serves small and underserved communities in the Midwest and Southeast. The carrier operates Essential Air Service (EAS) routes, providing federally subsidized air service to communities that would otherwise lack commercial airline access.
Founded in 2005, the airline has focused on point-to-point service linking smaller cities to major hub airports such as Chicago O'Hare and St. Louis. Air Choice One operates a small fleet of turboprop and regional aircraft suited to the short-haul, low-frequency routes it serves.
As a participant in the U.S. Department of Transportation's Essential Air Service program, Air Choice One plays an important role in maintaining air connectivity for rural communities, fulfilling a public service mandate that larger carriers typically do not serve.
