Tawau Airport (IATA: TWU, ICAO: WBKW) is a domestic and limited international airport serving Tawau, a port city in the eastern part of Sabah, Malaysia. It facilitates connections to Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and other Malaysian destinations, supporting the region's palm oil, timber, and fishing industries. The airport is operated by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) and handles a modest volume of passengers annually. It serves as an important transport link for communities in southeastern Sabah, including those near the Tawau Hills Park and the Indonesian border region. While primarily a domestic hub, the airport has historically seen cross-border traffic given Tawau's proximity to Nunukan and Tarakan in Indonesia's East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan provinces.
