Kittilä International Airport (IATA: KTT, ICAO: EFKT) is located in Kittilä municipality in Finnish Lapland, approximately 10 kilometres north of the town centre. It serves as the primary air access point for the Levi ski resort, one of Finland's largest and most popular winter sports destinations.
The airport is operated by Finavia and handles a strongly seasonal traffic pattern, with the vast majority of passengers arriving during the winter ski season between November and April. During peak winter months, it receives numerous charter flights from across Europe alongside scheduled services.
Despite its remote Arctic location, Kittilä Airport handles a significant volume of international traffic each winter, making it one of Finland's busiest airports by passenger numbers during the ski season. The runway is equipped to handle demanding winter conditions including heavy snowfall and extreme cold.
