Lleida-Alguaire Airport is a regional airport located near the town of Alguaire, approximately 12 kilometres north of Lleida in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is managed by the Generalitat de Catalunya through its public entity Aeroports de Catalunya, making it one of the few airports in Spain not operated by AENA. The airport opened in 2010 and was developed to serve the Lleida and Pyrenees region, including ski resorts in the nearby mountains. Despite its strategic ambitions, it has struggled to attract consistent commercial traffic and has operated with limited scheduled services over the years. The facility has a single runway and a modest passenger terminal capable of handling a moderate volume of travelers. It has occasionally hosted low-cost carriers offering seasonal routes, but regular commercial operations have remained intermittent.
