Aden International Airport (IATA: ADE, ICAO: OYAA) is the main commercial airport serving Aden, Yemen's second-largest city and a major port on the Gulf of Aden. The airport has historically served as an important regional hub in the Arabian Peninsula, handling both domestic and international traffic. Operations at the airport have been severely disrupted since the outbreak of the Yemeni Civil War in 2015, with infrastructure damage, intermittent closures, and security concerns significantly limiting flight activity. Despite these challenges, limited international and domestic services have resumed at various points during the conflict. The airport gained tragic international attention in December 2020 when a missile and rocket attack struck the airfield shortly after a plane carrying newly formed Yemeni government cabinet members landed, killing and injuring dozens of people.

Aden International Airport is an international airport in Aden, Yemen and the oldest airport in the Arabian Peninsula. Prior to its use as a civil air facility, the aerodrome was known as RAF Khormaksar, which opened in 1917 and closed as an RAF station in 1967. In the 1970s and 1980s it was both a civilian airport and a Soviet Naval Aviation base. It continues to be used for military purposes by the Yemeni Air Force.
