Belair Airlines was a Swiss charter airline headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. It operated primarily as a leisure carrier, offering charter flights to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Red Sea, and other popular tourist regions. The airline was closely associated with the Hotelplan Group, a major Swiss tour operator, and functioned largely as its dedicated air transport arm. This relationship gave Belair a stable base of charter business tied to package holiday sales. Belair Airlines ceased operations in 2012 when its operations were integrated into those of Edelweiss Air, another Swiss leisure carrier also connected to the Hotelplan Group. The consolidation was aimed at streamlining the two carriers' overlapping routes and operations.
