Wizz Air Ukraine was a Ukrainian low-cost carrier established as a subsidiary of the Hungarian ultra-low-cost airline Wizz Air. It was created to operate flights under a Ukrainian air operator's certificate, allowing the group to expand its presence in the Ukrainian aviation market. The airline was intended to serve domestic Ukrainian routes as well as international destinations, leveraging the Wizz Air brand and operational model. However, the carrier faced significant challenges and its operational history was limited before activities were effectively suspended. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Ukrainian airspace was closed, rendering all commercial airline operations within Ukraine impossible. Wizz Air Ukraine, like all carriers operating in Ukraine, ceased flights as a result of the ongoing conflict.
