Connecting remote communities across the Pacific Northwest.
Founded
1997
Headquarters
Portland, United States
SeaPort Airlines was a regional airline based in the United States that specialized in providing essential air service to small, underserved communities primarily in the Pacific Northwest and Mid-South regions. Operating under the Essential Air Service (EAS) program, it connected rural towns and cities that would otherwise lack reliable commercial air access.
The airline operated a fleet of small turboprop aircraft, offering scheduled passenger service to destinations in Oregon, Arkansas, Tennessee, and other states. It partnered with major carriers to provide connecting itineraries for passengers traveling beyond its network.
SeaPort Airlines ceased operations in 2016 after facing financial difficulties and challenges common to small regional carriers, including thin margins and high operating costs relative to passenger demand on thin-route markets.
Hubs & network
SeaPort Airlines operated primarily out of Portland International Airport (PDX) in Oregon, with additional service bases in Arkansas and Tennessee.
Fleet
SeaPort Airlines operated Cessna 208 Caravan and Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop aircraft suited for short-haul, small-capacity regional routes.
