China United Airlines (KN) is a Chinese low-cost carrier headquartered in Beijing, China. Originally established as a military airline under the People's Liberation Army Air Force, it was later restructured and transferred to civil aviation management, becoming a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Group. The airline primarily operates domestic routes within China, with a focus on secondary and underserved destinations. It positions itself as a budget carrier, offering competitive fares to price-sensitive travelers across the country. China United operates primarily out of Beijing Nanyuan Airport, which served as its main base for many years. Following the closure of Nanyuan Airport in 2019, operations shifted to Beijing Daxing International Airport.
