Embraer Legacy 600

The Embraer Legacy 600 is a large-cabin, long-range business jet developed by Brazilian manufacturer Embraer. It is a heavily modified derivative of the ERJ 135 regional jet, featuring an extended fuselage, winglets, additional fuel capacity, and a luxuriously appointed interior capable of seating up to 13 passengers in a typical configuration. The Legacy 600 entered service in 2001 and quickly gained popularity in the corporate aviation market for its combination of intercontinental range, spacious cabin, and relatively competitive operating costs. It competes with aircraft such as the Gulfstream G450 and Bombardier Challenger 605. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce AE 3007A1E turbofan engines and can fly nonstop on routes such as New York to London. Production has wound down as Embraer introduced successor models in its Praetor family, but the Legacy 600 remains active in service worldwide with numerous charter operators and private owners.
