Shenyang Dongta Airport (ICAO: ZYYY) is located in the Dadong district of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province in northeastern China. It is one of the oldest airports in the region, historically associated with military aviation and general aviation operations rather than major commercial passenger service. The airport has largely been superseded for commercial operations by Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (ICAO: ZYTX), which serves as the primary civil aviation gateway for Shenyang.
