Saint-Pierre Pierrefonds Airport (IATA: ZSE, ICAO: FMEP) is a regional airport located in the south of Réunion, a French overseas territory in the Indian Ocean. It serves the city of Saint-Pierre and provides an alternative to the main Roland Garros Airport in the north of the island. The airport handles a modest volume of regional and domestic traffic, with connections primarily to other Indian Ocean islands such as Mayotte, Madagascar, Comoros, and Mauritius. It plays an important role in inter-island connectivity for the southern part of Réunion. Due to its location in a more sun-favored part of the island, Pierrefonds sometimes offers better flying conditions than Roland Garros, which can be affected by cloud cover and tropical weather on the northern and eastern coasts.
