Remote Yukon gateway serving the historic mining town of Faro.

Location
Faro, Canada
Faro Airport (IATA: ZFA, ICAO: CZFA) is a small regional airport located near Faro, Yukon, Canada. It serves as an essential air link for this remote community, which is situated in the central Yukon Territory along the Pelly River. The airport primarily supports general aviation, charter flights, and occasional scheduled service. Faro itself is a small town historically tied to the nearby Faro Mine, once one of the largest open-pit lead-zinc mines in the world. Air access is critical for residents given the town's remote location and limited road connections. The facility is relatively basic in infrastructure, reflecting the small population it serves. It plays an important logistical role for the surrounding region, including support for mining operations, government activities, and community supply needs.
