Gateway to Manuel Antonio and Costa Rica's Pacific coast.

Location
Quepos, Costa Rica
Quepos La Managua Airport, identified by IATA code XQP and ICAO code MRQP, is a small domestic airport serving the town of Quepos on Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast. It primarily connects the area to the capital, San José, and other domestic destinations, supporting tourism to the nearby Manuel Antonio National Park. The airport handles light aircraft and small regional turboprops, with a relatively short runway suited to domestic operations. It plays an important role in reducing travel time for visitors who would otherwise face a several-hour road journey from San José. Ground handling and facilities are modest, reflecting the airport's status as a regional feeder airport rather than an international gateway. Passenger volumes are driven largely by ecotourism and leisure travelers visiting one of Costa Rica's most popular natural attractions.
