Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is one of two international airports serving Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in Southwestern China. It was planned in 2013 and opened in 2021, after Chengdu Shuangliu Airport had been exceeding its designed maximum passenger capacity for years.
