Fazenda Nova Aliança Airstrip is a small private airstrip located near Encruzilhada in the state of Bahia, Brazil. Registered under the ICAO code SJ23, it serves the operational needs of the fazenda (farm or ranch) with which it is associated, providing air access to an otherwise remote agricultural area. The airstrip is typical of many private farm strips found throughout rural Brazil, designed to support light general aviation aircraft for transportation of personnel, supplies, and produce. It is not open to scheduled commercial traffic and has no public terminal facilities.
