JASDF Nyūtabaru Air Base (ICAO: RJFN) is a Japanese Air Self-Defense Force installation located near Shintomi, Miyazaki Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu. It serves primarily as a military training and operational base and is not open to civilian commercial aviation. The base is home to several JASDF units and is notably used for pilot training, including advanced jet training. Its location on the Pacific coast of Kyushu provides favorable flying conditions year-round.
