Radom, Poland
Warsaw Radom Airport (IATA: RDO, ICAO: EPRA) is a regional airport located in Radom, approximately 100 kilometers south of Warsaw, Poland. It was redeveloped and relaunched as a commercial airport to serve as an alternative gateway to the Warsaw metropolitan area, supplementing the capacity of Warsaw Chopin Airport. The airport underwent significant infrastructure upgrades before resuming scheduled commercial operations in 2023, including a new passenger terminal, extended runway, and modernized facilities. It is managed by Polish Airports State Enterprise (Polskie Porty Lotnicze, PPL). Although positioned as Warsaw's second airport, RDO primarily attracts low-cost carriers serving leisure and regional routes. Its commercial viability and passenger volumes remain modest compared to the main Warsaw hub.
