Pantelleria Airport (IATA: PNL, ICAO: LICG) is a small regional airport located on the island of Pantelleria, a volcanic island in the Strait of Sicily administered as part of the Province of Trapani, Italy. It serves as the primary and only air access point to the island, connecting it to mainland Italy. The airport handles predominantly domestic traffic, with seasonal services to major Italian cities. It is especially busy during the summer months when tourism to the island peaks. Alitalia and its successors, as well as regional carriers such as Neos and DAT (formerly Air Dolomiti routes), have operated flights here. Due to the island's volcanic terrain and the airport's relatively short runway, operations are subject to specific weight and size restrictions, limiting service to smaller regional aircraft.
