Dyess Army Air Field (ICAO: PKRO) is a small military airstrip located on Roi-Namur, the northernmost island of Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It serves as a support facility for U.S. Army operations associated with the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site on Kwajalein Atoll. The airfield is named after Lieutenant Colonel William Edwin Dyess, a World War II American officer and prisoner of war who died in 1943. Access to Roi-Namur and its airfield is restricted, as the island is a controlled U.S. Army installation. The facility primarily supports logistical and personnel transport for military and contractor personnel assigned to the Kwajalein range complex. It is not open to the general public and has no commercial airline service.
