The Ohio State University Airport, officially known as Don Scott Field (KOSU), is a public-use general aviation airport located in Columbus, Ohio, on the northwest side of The Ohio State University campus. It is owned and operated by The Ohio State University and serves as a key facility for aviation education, research, and general aviation activity. The airport is home to the university's aviation programs and hosts a significant volume of flight training operations. It consistently ranks among the busiest general aviation airports in the United States by aircraft operations, owing largely to the high volume of student training flights conducted there. Named after Don Scott, an Ohio State alumnus and World War II aviation hero who was killed in action in 1943, the airport has a long history tied to both military aviation and academic excellence. It does not offer scheduled commercial airline service.
