RAF Odiham is a Royal Air Force station located near Hook in Hampshire, England. It serves primarily as a military airfield and is best known as the main operating base for the RAF's Boeing CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopter fleet, operated by 18(B) Squadron and 27 Squadron. The station plays a critical role in support helicopter operations for the British Armed Forces, providing lift capacity for troops, equipment, and humanitarian missions both domestically and on overseas deployments. It is not open to civilian commercial air traffic. Although assigned the IATA code ODH and ICAO code EGVO, RAF Odiham functions exclusively as a military installation and does not handle scheduled passenger services.
