Nay Pyi Taw International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving Naypyitaw, the capital city of Myanmar. Opened in 2011, it was purpose-built to support the newly established capital and features a large, modern terminal facility. Despite its modern infrastructure and significant capacity, the airport handles relatively low passenger volumes compared to Yangon's Mingaladon Airport and Mandalay International Airport. It serves domestic routes across Myanmar as well as limited international connections. The airport is located approximately 16 kilometers from the city center of Naypyitaw and sits within the carefully planned capital city region that was officially established in 2006.

Naypyidaw International Airport, officially spelled Nay Pyi Taw, , is located 16 kilometers southeast of Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar. Before the foundation of Naypyidaw, it was known as the airport of the nearby town of Lewe. The airport officially opened on 19 December 2011. The airport's air traffic control tower collapsed during the 2025 Myanmar earthquake, killing six people.
