John A. Osborne Airport, designated by IATA code MNI and ICAO code TRPG, is the only airport serving the British Overseas Territory of Montserrat in the Caribbean. Located in Gerald's Park in the northern part of the island, it serves as the primary point of entry for visitors and residents alike. The airport was renamed in honor of John A. Osborne, a former Chief Minister of Montserrat. The original W.H. Bramble Airport in the south of the island was buried under volcanic ash and lava following the eruptions of the Soufrière Hills volcano beginning in 1995, necessitating the construction of this replacement facility. Due to the island's small size and challenging topography, the airport features a relatively short runway capable of accommodating small turboprop aircraft. Regular scheduled services connect Montserrat primarily to Antigua, which serves as the main regional hub for onward international travel.
