Mojave Air & Space Port is a public airport and federally licensed commercial spaceport located in Mojave, California, in the high desert of Kern County. It sits at an elevation of approximately 2,801 feet above sea level and covers a large area well-suited to aerospace testing and experimental aviation. The facility is home to numerous aerospace companies and serves as a base for flight testing, aircraft storage, and commercial space development. It gained historic recognition in 2004 when Scaled Composites' SpaceShipOne became the first privately funded spacecraft to reach space, doing so from Mojave. Mojave Air & Space Port was the first facility in the United States to be licensed by the FAA as a spaceport for horizontal launches. It continues to attract companies involved in hypersonic research, satellite launch vehicle development, and experimental aircraft programs.

The Mojave Air and Space Port is a general-use public airport with three main areas of activity: flight testing, space industry development, and aircraft heavy maintenance and storage. Located in Mojave, California, at an elevation of 2,801 feet (854 m), the three runway facility covers 2,998 acres. It is also the first facility licensed in the U.S. for horizontal launches of reusable spacecraft, having received its spaceport designation from the Federal Aviation Administration on June 17, 2004. It received the suffixed formal name Mojave Air and Space Port at Rutan Field in 2022.
