Bassatine Airport (IATA: MEK, ICAO: GMFM) is a small regional airport located in Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. It provides limited scheduled and general aviation services to the Meknes region in north-central Morocco. The airport is operated under the authority of the Office National des Aéroports (ONDA), which manages Morocco's civil aviation infrastructure. Due to its relatively small size and limited route network, Bassatine sees considerably less traffic than Morocco's major hubs such as Casablanca Mohammed V or Marrakech Menara. Meknes itself is a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its historic medina and proximity to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, though most international tourists traveling to the region typically arrive via Fes-Saïss Airport or Casablanca.
