Hatzerim Air Base (ICAO: LLHB) is a major Israeli Air Force installation located in the Negev Desert near Beersheba in southern Israel. It serves as a key operational base for the IAF and is home to several frontline squadrons and training units. The base is also home to the Israeli Air Force Museum, one of the largest air force museums in the world, which displays over 150 aircraft from Israel's aviation history, including historic combat aircraft and captured enemy planes. The museum is open to the public and draws significant numbers of visitors annually. Hatzerim has no civilian passenger operations and functions exclusively as a military installation. Its strategic location in the Negev provides operational advantages and space for flight training activities.
