Melun-Villaroche Airfield (ICAO: LFPM) is a general aviation and aeronautical industry airfield located near Moissy-Cramayel in the Seine-et-Marne department, approximately 35 kilometres southeast of Paris. It has no commercial passenger services and no assigned IATA code, serving instead as a base for private aviation, flight training, and aerospace industry operations. The airfield has a distinguished history in French aviation, having been closely associated with the development and testing of aircraft by major manufacturers. Safran (formerly Snecma) has historically maintained facilities at Villaroche for jet engine development and testing. The site remains an important hub for French aerospace industrial activity. The airfield features paved runways capable of handling a range of aircraft types and is operated under French civil aviation authority oversight. It is not open to scheduled commercial traffic.
