Orléans-Bricy Air Base (BA 123) is a major military airfield operated by the French Air and Space Force (Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace), located near the city of Orléans in the Loiret department of north-central France. The base serves primarily as a transport and tactical airlift hub, home to assets supporting French military operations domestically and internationally. The base hosts the 1/61 'Touraine' transport squadron, which has historically operated aircraft such as the CASA CN-235 and later the EADS/CASA C-295. It plays a significant logistical role within the French military aviation structure, supporting both national defense missions and overseas deployments. Orléans-Bricy is a restricted military installation and is not open to civilian commercial traffic. It maintains its own infrastructure, security perimeter, and operational command structure under the French Ministry of Armed Forces.
