Cazaux Air Base (BA 120), known by its ICAO code LFBC, is a French Air Force installation located near La Teste-de-Buch on the southwestern Atlantic coast of France, adjacent to the Arcachon Bay. It operates under the French Air and Space Force and serves primarily as a military facility rather than a commercial airport. The base is historically significant as one of France's oldest and most important aviation training centers, specializing in weapons and tactical training. It hosts the CEAM (Centre d'Expertise Aérienne Militaire) and has long been associated with advanced pilot and aircrew combat training programs. Cazaux Air Base is not open to civilian commercial traffic and has no scheduled passenger services. The surrounding area is part of the Landes de Gascogne regional natural park, and the base borders the Cazaux-Sanguinet lake, one of the largest natural lakes in France.
