Armilla Air Base (ICAO: LEGA) is a military aerodrome located in the municipality of Armilla, just south of Granada in Andalusia, Spain. It serves as an active base for the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire) and hosts fighter and training units. The base is not open to commercial passenger traffic and has no public terminal facilities. It plays a significant role in Spanish air defense and has historically housed interceptor squadrons operating over southern Spain and the Strait of Gibraltar region. Due to its military nature, public access is restricted and no civilian airline operations are conducted from Armilla. Granada's commercial aviation needs are served by Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport, located nearby.
