Kaunas, Lithuania
Kaunas International Airport (KUN/EYKA) is the second busiest airport in Lithuania, located approximately 14 kilometres north of Kaunas city centre. It serves as an important hub for low-cost carriers connecting Lithuania to destinations across Europe. The airport has seen significant growth in passenger traffic driven largely by Ryanair's expanded operations, which made it a major base in the Baltic region. The facility handles both scheduled and charter flights, supporting both leisure and business travelers. Kaunas Airport is operated by Lietuvos oro uostai (Lithuanian Airports), the state-owned company that also manages Vilnius and Palanga airports. Modernisation investments have improved terminal facilities and ground services in recent years.
