Silverhill Naval Outlying Landing Field (KNQB) is a military auxiliary airfield located near Daphne, Alabama, in Baldwin County. It functions as an outlying landing field supporting naval aviation training operations, primarily for touch-and-go practice conducted by aircraft from nearby Naval Air Station Whiting Field. The facility is not open to the general public and does not serve commercial airline traffic. It exists solely to provide additional runway capacity for student naval aviators undergoing primary flight training in the region. The airfield is one of several outlying landing fields in the Gulf Coast area that collectively support the high volume of training sorties generated by NAS Whiting Field, one of the busiest naval air training installations in the United States.
