Khost International Airport (IATA: KHT, ICAO: OAKS) is a small civilian and military airport serving the city of Khost in the Khost Province of southeastern Afghanistan, near the Pakistani border. The airport sits at an elevation of approximately 3,756 feet (1,145 meters) above sea level and handles limited domestic air traffic. The facility has historically served dual civilian and military purposes, particularly during the period of US and NATO military presence in Afghanistan following 2001. After the Taliban takeover in August 2021, scheduled commercial operations became severely limited. Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air have at various times operated routes connecting Khost to Kabul.
