Gateway to Lake Kariba and Zimbabwe's wildlife frontier.

Location
Kariba, Zimbabwe
Kariba Airport (IATA: KAB, ICAO: FVKB) is a small domestic airport serving the town of Kariba in northern Zimbabwe, situated along the shores of Lake Kariba — one of the world's largest man-made reservoirs. The airport primarily handles light aircraft and scheduled domestic flights connecting Kariba to Harare and other Zimbabwean destinations, supporting tourism to the lake and surrounding wildlife areas. The airport plays an important role in Zimbabwe's tourism infrastructure, providing access to houseboats, safari lodges, and national parks such as Matusadona. Its relatively short runway and limited facilities reflect the modest scale of air traffic through this scenic but remote destination.
Terminals
The airport has a single small terminal building with basic passenger facilities suited to its low-volume domestic traffic.
Getting to & from
Ground transport from the airport into Kariba town is primarily by taxi or private transfer, as no formal public bus service regularly serves the route.
Airlines here
Fastjet Zimbabwe and small charter operators have historically served Kariba, connecting it primarily to Harare's Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.
